Provide mental health therapy and clinical guidance within a structured mentorship program for Medicaid-eligible boys ages 14–16 in Columbus, Ohio.
Position overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide essential mental health therapy and clinical guidance within our structured mentorship program. The ideal candidate will be a trusted professional committed to the long-term growth of our young men, integrating evidence-based clinical practices with our mission of building resilience, character, and purpose.
This role is central to ROOTED's whole-person approach. As our LCSW, you will ensure that every mentee has access to safe, professional therapeutic support in a setting that honors both clinical excellence and genuine care.
Key responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy sessions and diagnostic support to mentees.
- Help young men navigate behavioral and emotional challenges in a safe, therapeutic environment.
- Collaborate with mentorship staff and partner organizations to align clinical interventions with each participant's developmental goals.
- Integrate evidence-based practices with ROOTED's mission of building resilience, character, and purpose.
- Maintain professional documentation and clinical standards in a part-time, after-school setting.
Requirements
What we're looking for
Licensure
Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of Ohio.
Education
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program.
Experience
Proven clinical practice with a focus on youth mental health, adolescent behavioral development, or trauma-informed care.
Professional alignment
Ability to operate within a whole-person framework emphasizing trust, accountability, and clinical excellence.
